Merits Wrangler S840DXG Mobility Scooter

The Merits Wrangler is a robust four wheel scooter built for riders who spend more of their time outdoors and need a machine that copes with rougher ground. Large 12 inch pneumatic wheels and 120mm of ground clearance lift the deck clear of obstacles, while adjustable suspension keeps the ride comfortable over uneven footpaths, gravel and kerb ramps.

A 4 pole motor paired with a large Rhino 2 120A controller delivers strong pulling power for driveways and inclines up to the rated 8 degree gradient. With a range of 30 to 40km from two 12V batteries, it is built for longer trips rather than short errands.

The multi-adjustable tiller lets the steering position be set to suit the rider, and the modern LCD dashboard gives a clear read on battery charge, speed and temperature. An easy to access 12 volt socket allows a phone or GPS to be charged while out.

A full lighting system with headlight, rear tail lights, indicators and a reverse warning makes the Wrangler suitable for a wide range of conditions, and a built in half speed switch operates automatically when turning for added stability. With a 159kg weight capacity, it also suits riders needing more than a standard scooter provides.
